A New York-based developer bought 2229 S. Michigan Ave and did not address a roof leak for six months, damaging 20,000 sf of wood flooring. I was contracted to replace the subflooring with the exact matching wood, as it was being sandblasted and left exposed.

I provided the exact replacement wood (along with (200) 13”x7”x20’ Douglas Fir beams) and denailed & sanded the extracted subflooring. I then handcrafted the main bar & (30) tables, then finished them with 3 coats of hardened Italian lacquer.
